A Clubhouse best-of series

DeFi Australia

Without sounding like a Naval meme. Every time I learn a new mental model for an element of DeFi, I feel like I’ve just saved hours wading through white-papers, discord servers, podcasts, clubhouses — hours of linear learning.

Clubhouse has been the best shortcut for this. You get straight to the source. Founders and devs who think about one problem all day every day.

Clubhouse best of’s

So, rather than producing yet another series of AMAs and summaries, we will be interviewing heads from the DeFi space in a clubhouse-style conversational format and producing concise outputs: mental models.

Connecting heads

In starting DeFi Australia our ideal outcome is to get the smartest people in the space to talk with each other. We’ll start by getting them to talk with us, and hopefully it leaves our hands, in true decentralised fashion.

Insta-trust

While these media won’t shill the projects of these interviewees, we believe that they will gain the respect of their audience quickly and spur further research. Investing or collaboration is so often about the people, not the tech, and a spark of genius or mental yoga is a better referee than a recorded sales pitch.

We’re planning to interview Investors, developers, founders, accountants, government regulators, average joe’s, nerds, artists and, god-forbid, academics.
